Doesn't work well in bright sunlight
Drivers were buggy, couldn't get signal strength working. Doesn't work under sunlight above 75klux. Indoors seem okay. Customer service was nice and responsive, but couldn't solve my issues.
Small and light obstacle detection system
This product is small and light, so it is not burdensome to be mounted on a small drone. It is also well-connected with ardupilot, showing the level of compatibility that can work immediately when connected. I am very satisfied with the performance of the product, but I expect it to be a little difficult for SLAM because the rotation speed is slower than I thought.
So far, rather limited. Worked well out of the box connected to the PC. Have not connected it to the rover yet. More mods to make to accept it. Was surprised that the PC program did not show distance as the LiDAR painted the shop accurately.
Lightweight and best performance. Very satisfied.
