Measures 0.2 to 100 m / 0.6 to 328 ft, even in bright sunlight conditions. Maximum range achieved on targets with 70% reflectivity.

Offers update rates of 48 to 5 000 readings per second. Update rates can be customized to best suit your application.

We recently transitioned from the larger SF11/C to the SF20 for our UAV altimeter data loggers used in marine science and whale research applications. The SF20 has performed exceptionally well over water at altitudes of up to approximately 50 metres, while reducing the overall weight of our product by nearly 50% compared with the previous design.
This significant weight saving has enabled compatibility with a wider range of smaller UAV platforms, opening up new operational possibilities and applications. We have been very pleased with the performance, reliability, and flexibility that the SF20 has brought to our systems. Highly recommended.

I use it for UAV VTOL; and the distance accuracy is accurate and wonderful. It’s small and light; so it’s very easy to handle.

SF20/C (100 m)
We used the SF20/C with a servo motor to detect gratings 2 meters above the ground. The precision is excellent. Discrimination too. Simple to use and implement. We highly recommend this product.

SF20/C (100 m)
We use the sensor to support pilots during the flare out just before touch on the runway. Via a Wifi Access point the fast measurements by the sensor are transmitted to our SmartFlare app.
